Hey all! I hope your Friday is going well. My day is jam-packed with things to do and errands to run before I move into my new apartment in Gainesville tomorrow. My family and I went on a cruise vacation for five days and now I have only one day to pack up my stuff for the five millionth time this year.
I’m normally a fan of the go-go-go routine, but this move will be challenging if I don’t feel a bit better by tomorrow. Our cruise was relaxing and fun, but I caught some sort of stomach virus Wednesday night.
Needless to say, I’m taking it easy, not exercising today and eating plain foods. I hoped to post a fitness plan for the week, but I’m holding off until next week.

—> My 21st birthday was last week, but I’ve been stocking up on drink recipes for about a month. I have yet to make a drink for myself, but this somewhat healthy, boozy dessert drink is at the top of my list of alcoholic drinks to make when I’m feeling better.
Double Duty Quesadilla Casserole from Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life
—> My family requested that I prepare and freeze a few meals before heading back to Gainesville. I’ve never experimented with make-ahead, freezable meals, but this recipe looks easy and flavorful. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Vegan Chocolate Avocado Cookies from Two Peas & Their Pod
—> My brother’s birthday cake tasted sinful but was truly healthy due to two secret ingredients – avocado and coconut oil. These two fats, which are some of the healthiest around, also replace butter and eggs in this recipe to create chewy vegan chocolate cookies.
Magical Blueberry Vanilla Chia Seed Jam from oh she glows
—> This quick and healthy jam recipe is on my to-make list before summer fruit season comes to an end. I’m thinking it will make a good topping for a “Pretty Sweet” Egg and Cheese Sandwich on a Homemade English Muffin.
—> I’m not going to lie. I’m becoming a beast at doing push-ups. No more on-your-knees modification for me. I’ve been incorporating push-ups on a BOSU into my workouts, which can challenge your core. However, I’m already tiring of this modification and can’t wait to try this serious version soon.
Fast Functional Workout from Peanut Butter Fingers
—> “Ten rounds with 10 reps of each exercise will be an easier workout,” I said to myself before starting this circuit-based routine.
I was dead wrong. This workout was a killer. Seriously. The first five rounds are fast, but muscle fatigue hit me like a brick wall during round six. My entire body was sore for two days.

—> I really want this strappy, bright workout tank to show off some tanned, toned arms. Too bad it’s a bit on the expensive side.

—> I know it’s not new, but this exercise move has been my favorite way to end a challenging legs workout.
Reebok SubLite Train 1.0 Shoes
—> Functional training shoes that come in a variety of colors get me every time. I’m definitely a fan of the newer Reebok look and products, but these shoes don’t exactly fit into my college student budget.
